I had only lived in New England one month when my mom (an interior designer herself) swept me away to the magical world at Jacobson, a wholesaler for Florists & Designers.  Located in the city of Boston, this vast store with endless aisles are filled to the brim with ribbons, realistic faux florals, vases, vessels, and more. As a decorator, the store is enchanting. 

Year round this is my go-to resource when I am ready to add the final touches to my clients’ homes.  (Florist and designer friends, this is your cue.  You need this store in your life.) 

But at Christmas though, this store is next level.  Truly my one-stop shop for Christmas decorating.   This year I’ve almost exclusively decorated my home with their goodies.  Let me share some favorites that brought my 2020 holiday theme to life.

Favorite Jacobson Holiday Finds

Faux Cedar Garland:  hands down the best I’ve ever seen.  It’s so real, you can almost smell it.  I used this in the garland on my stairs & as the centering element of both my fireplace mantles.  

Truly Realistic Faux Florals:  I’ve incorporated winter whites in the form of magnolias, anenomes, and roses.   I also added some gorgeous gold poinsettias to amp up my staircase garland.

Wide Satin Ribbon:  My design this year hinges on this shiny black polished element which I’ve added to each space in my home.   Feeling a Chanel-like vibe, I’ve created lopsided floppy black bows.  Belle says it’s very Fashionista.  I’ll take it!

Brass Ring Wreaths:  For a more modern look, Meryl, my florist buddy, used my Jacobson brass rings to create these delicate + chic wreaths for my old Victorian windows.   

Ornaments + Garland:  The tree is filled with their ornaments, but the icing on the tree cake is the wood beaded garland that drapes the tree.
